The wedding was held on the 9th of February 2014 at the Mount Annan Botanic Gardens. I was hired to shoot a video of the ceremony only. The wedding was full of happiness and I wish the newly weds the best of luck in their new marriage!

Camden Trip

On Saturday we went to Camden for a big winter lunch. It was the first day of winter, and we thought Camden would be the perfect spot to be. Camden is a small, country town that isn't too far away but still has a bit of a rural, cottage feel. We both love the Southern Highlands in NSW, which is full of wineries, deciduous trees and farms. The food is better, the air is fresher and the grass is literally greener. It is still Australiana, but somehow not.

We both ended up getting the same dish - a beef ragu with creamy tomato sauce, baby spinach and shaved parmesan. We also had italian garlic sourdough as an entree. The perfect way to start what will hopefully be, a cosy and peaceful winter.

Oh, and this tiny dog definitely knows it's winter now.

NYE 2012

Bring on the NY!

So it's very much a tradition that my family spends NYE together. This year we decided to go and watch the fireworks at Koshigaya Park, Campbelltown, and in between we would enjoy the festivities of the night around us. Here's the run down of everything.
So first we were all getting ready, and I was having the time of my life having been dubbed "official cameraman"

It wasn't all fun and games though. Soon I had to start some serious shooting. So I decided to go for artsy Christmas...

Mmmm a winter wonderland indeed. So, here are some of my cherished loved ones I had the fortune of spending the night with.

In order of appearance we have Mum, Nan, my brother Addy and my fiance Jessica. So we left the house and made our way to the club where we were scheduled to have a nice dinner with the family!

And then fireworks (BOOM!)

After the fireworks were over we all celebrated the new year together. I was a bit too busy to take any photos, but after we all hugged and kissed and felt good about the new year, we went home and crashed. So, there you have it, NYE 2012.

Mojo

Mojo

So it was NYE and I thought I would just take some adorable shots of our near 1 year old King Charles Cavalier named Mojo. We picked him up on the 4th of May 2012 to lift the mood at home, and ever since he has done his job spectacularly.

 He's happy, despite not looking it...

Trust me.

The 2002

Hello everyone and welcome!

This is a blog based on photography and the stories that created the moments in the frame. So first a little bit about me!

My name is Cejay, I'm 21, currently working for an events management and production company, have just finished studying a Bachelor of Communications and am engaged to a beautiful girl named Jessica. So you could say I think I know everything about nothing...or nothing about everything...

Anyway here is my first photo!

This is my BMW 2002 from 1973 that I bought for my 21st birthday. It's a project car so it isn't running at the moment, but the story behind this car is amazing. It was first bought in Melbourne way back in the 70s where it was loved and cared for by the same family for decades. Then in the 90s it was sold and driven up from Melbourne all the way to Oberon NSW! It was used around their farm until 2012 when it's new family decided to sell it because it no longer worked. After sitting out the front of a mechanics for several weeks it finally found itself some company. Me!

That's not me in the photo by the way. The one in the jersey is my younger brother Addison and the other person is the guy who was selling it. I'm sitting in the car, maybe if you squint you can see me. Ok back to the story. I wasn't the first one to have laid eyes on it. A few nights earlier some rowdy teenagers decided to kick in the door for fun. Poor car. But I was there to save the day!

After some negotiating we winched him (yes him) up onto the back of the trailer and were ready to set off! Here we come Sydney! The drive back was perilous, having to traverse The Blue Mountains I was scared for the '02s safety. But we arrived home in one piece and let it roll off the trailer into what would become its hibernation home (the driveway).

This car encapsulates my imagination in a story which I'm sure I have only delved partly into. Although this European sedan may not be road worthy yet, one day it will drive a road worthy of its heritage, we me in it!
